Day 3

Still day3 ...In Seoul...

our hotel for the first nite in Seoul, hans suites, near Hotel Sejong, within walkable distance to Namsan Park tower

Walking to Insadong...saw many such hawkers by the roadside

Reached Insadong

Stumbled into another park, this one was strange coz i saw mainly old gents around...

Walked further into this huge covered market place that sells practically everything

This old gent put on his most charming act for me

Dong Dae Mun

The once Olympic stadium being renovated?

Stream-like canal after revamped and being integrated

into the urbanscape as a major pedestrian artery

Shopping mall Doota

Shopping mall Migliore...like Doota, it is Spore version of Far East Plaza

Throngs of people, esp young pple as dusk fell

Yummy food found in food court, bought with coupons

Delicious beef soup

Things found in Meong Dong...shopping and endless shopping

Got a funky shirt for my darling from this addidas

Began my first forray into Skin Food products here!

Bought lots that day! Was told they were really cheap and very good too!

Day7

Mother Mary

An old catholic church being renovated

We got some holy water from there :)

and i lighted a candle and said a prayer

Then i met my friend at Meong Dong for the highly recommended glass noodles and chicken...

it came in a huge plate...so much that we both couldnt finish

Next we got directions from the receptionist to walk up Namsan park to reach Seoul Tower

Saw this cute lantern

FAntastic light projections on the tower...creating very surreallistic effect

Look at the wire-meshed figure...looking like a man flying into a tower of fire

More cheap stuffs to buy...u can bargain as well

Very expensive things here...a high class shopping mall, very diff from Doota
